Sledge Morgan, MPT graduated from UNM with his Masters in Physical Therapy in 2008. He has worked in Bernalillo, Grants, and Albuquerque since his graduation and has enjoyed the dynamic patient population and challenging questions his patients present.
Sledge grew up in Albuquerque and has enjoyed everything about his experience in New Mexico. He is married with four children, who keep him very busy. "If I'm not corralling children, I'm sleeping," is his motto. In what spare time he has, he enjoys playing church-league softball and basketball. Sledge and Jason went to high school together and after taking somewhat different paths have arrived at the same ultimate location and feel that they can collaborate to provide exceptional physical therapy services to the people of the Albuquerque metro area.
Jason Cox, DPT graduated from UNM with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2012. He has also worked in Bernalillo, Grants, and Albuquerque since his graduation.
Jason is married with three children and teases Sledge to no end that he can't imagine what life would be like with four kids! He played minor league baseball for several years before seeking physical therapy as he has dealt with injuries of his own and understands the importance of rehabilitation and preparation for physical activity. In his spare time he enjoys teaching his kids to swim in their new pool, watching his beloved Lobos, and reading Harry Potter.
Sadie Mele, DPT graduated from the University of New Mexico with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2016 and Bachelor's of Science in Biology in 2011. She has worked with Sledge and Jason in Bernalillo.
Sadie grew up in Rio Rancho and played on the Rio Rancho High School girls soccer team. She enjoys long walks in the park with her Great Dane, Barney. She is very active with recreational soccer and has been a coach for Albuquerque Academy girls soccer team. When she is not playing soccer, she is playing golf with her fiance and family. She is exceptional in helping young athletes return to sport.
Erika Firebaugh, DPT graduated from the University of New Mexico with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2017 and Bachelor's of Science in Exercise Science in 2014.
Erika was also born and raised in Albuquerque where she went to La Cueva High School. While there she played soccer, ran track and cross country. She later coached cross country for 2 years and she continues to play outdoor recreational soccer in her free time. You will often hear Erika talk about her love for cilantro, as it is a staple in her diet. Her energy and passion for physical therapy is palpable in the clinic. She is able to connect with patients and help them reach their rehab goals.
Desiree Cassell, DPT graduated from the University of New Mexico with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2017. Desiree specializes in the treatment of Women's Health conditions in addition to other orthopedic conditions.
Desiree was born and raised in Los Alamos, NM and is the oldest of 7 children. Desiree moved to Albuquerque to attend the University of New Mexico for her Bachelor's of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics. In her free time, Desiree loves spending time in the mountains with her husband and 2 daughters.
Physical therapist Assistant
Adam Olivieri, PTA graduated from Carrington College with his Associates in 2015. He has worked at UNMH, in the acute care orthopedic and trauma floors. Adam first met Sledge and Jason as a student working in Grants.
Adam was born and raised in Albuquerque and loves the many different sights New Mexico has to offer. His husband and him are proud parents of one dog and two cats. In his spare time, Adam is at the gym, catching up on his favorite TV shows, or square dancing. He has delt with gym related injuries himself and understands the importance of proper form, as well as a need to return to previous activities.
Nannette Carpenter is a proud Aggie from New Mexico State. She grew up in Farmington where she still has plenty of family. Nannette has been with Mountain View Therapy since its early birth, and has known Sledge for many years.
Nannette's motto is, "I can handle anything. I have kids." She is a multi-tasking pro at work and at home. Nannette makes handling insurance authorizations, the phone, and scheduling look like a breeze.
Josue “Josh” Gutierrez was born in Pampa, Texas and also grew up in Payson, Arizona. He is currently in at the University of New Mexico, with plans to enter the Anderson School of Business. He graduated from Cleveland High School in 2017 and now resides in Rio Rancho. Josue is fluent in Spanish and will be more than happy to help translate.
